Arts Together began as a response to a challenge from business leader Jim Balsillie. Starting in August 2006, a sequence of informal discussions took place involving leaders in arts&culture, business and community organizations.The aim is to envision a dynamic future for arts and culture in this region.

One of the results is a proposal for a set of accelerator projects, including

     1. Season of contemporary art festivals (CAFKA, Open Ears, IMPACT);

     2. Design Capital / Venice Biennale of Architecture
